My wife and I fell in love with a beautiful but challenging site on Lake Vernon. The views were spectacular and we could build close to the lake’s edge, as we have always dreamed – but getting the house properly nestled into the sloping site would require real skill, experience and imagination. Ryan listened very carefully to our goals, including budget limitations, and worked closely with our architect and builder to translate the design concepts from indoors to the outdoors. They designed hard and soft landscaping which is truly an extension and enhancement of the home itself. They took enormous pride in every element – big or small. They were passionate about colours and shapes and natural impressions, and yet very practical about important things like having proper access and drainage all four seasons. They worked tirelessly and reliably at every stage. REL took our dream to a whole other level. I have worked in design and construction for over 40 years.
